Decided to head down to the Georges early this morning even though the weather wasn't looking the best, in the hope for my first Jewfish on plastics. Sadly the water was ripping through due to the 1.8m run in tide, so we decided to try for bass and bream on hard bodies upstream. The fishing was crazy with each cast resulting in a hit or a follow. We were home by lunch with 14 bass, 11 Estuary Perch, 5 Bream and 1 tailor. Great little morning session with the best fish being 35cm.
