Wow ive never heard of branzino braid sounds awesome tho!...might have to get my hands on some... Miller blanks have heaps of balls, sounds like it pulled out a really nice fish for you on Monday
The washes between the harbour and cape banks are mainly adjacent to deep water, and some of the headlands hold big fish. Last summer for instance i hooked a 70-80kg marlin on my certate and a white 7inch shad while fishing for snapper. Of course didn land the fish but had it on for 20+mins before the 20pd trace wore through. Snapper wise the northern beaches hold more fish, off the eastern suburbs drawing blanks on some sp trips happens somewhat often (well for me at least). Im sure there are some sp anglers who pull consistent results along the eastern suburbs. The eastern beaches does hold some shallower ground which has produced some fish but nothing spectacular. And areas where i thought they would be without doubt has not really produced.
