    Hey Guys

    Owen, you speak my language!
  5. where in Sydney can these fish be found to caught! Thanks.
  6. i normally put them in a bucket full of ice.. they don't die straight away. before i go home, take them out and gut them, wash them snap freeze. doing this always makes them the best tasting.
  7. Rising sea levels have nothing to do with tides my friend. Rising sea levels increases the sea in millimeters over many many years. I'm not sure how often king tides come, but they certainly do and it's all got to do with the gravitational pull of the moon. When the moon is closer, it pulls harder and when it's further: the lower tide comes in. your local river had a low tide which resulted in the dry rocks, this is a very good thing when you have a run in tide to catch some fish! (they come for the food in the rocks)
  8. caught this bream, was just over a kg.. in the hacking area - very tasty!
  9. parramatta river has the most dirtiest water in Sydney.
  10. is that using just pillys, prawns and bread? anything else?
  11. Hello raiders! I'm planning to hit up Kiama for some fishing, never been there before.. can anyone recommend some good fishing spots? What kind of fish would i be chasing? and if not kiama, anywhere near by? Thanks for the help guys! Kind Regards Fisho Shakeel.

  13. is flooded with fish! been going there latley, throw in your line and pull it out - can catch up to 40 fish in one night.. it's a real shame about 20 of them are undersized but :|
  14. G'day raiders, I went out last night for a couple hours to port hacking to catch some fish, only stayed for about 1 to 2 hours because the waters were so damn choppy and we got no fish what so ever. It was really bad, like 60 km winds - heaps of fish in the water but no bite :| any advice? should i just avoid chopy days at all, or is there something i can do to work it to my advantage?? thanks. Shakeel.
