    Wooli- Day 1+2+3+4+5

Gday raiders, Left the beauty of Port Stephens this morning and headed north with my good mate Dom for a weeks fishing in Wooli. Arrived at 11am, and headed straight out to the breakwall to check the bar. Not much water so we checked in, got our gear ready and waited a while. With pretty sloppy seas and breezy conditions we pushed on and gave the bar a crack! This is not for the faint hearted nor the inexperienced but once we got out we were hoping the seas would settle down. This was not the case and we slowly made our way north to target snapper, all the while drifting a livey behind us! Anyway, put in two and half solid hours and managed 2 Mac tuna, I got a solid snapper, Dom managed a screaming longtail and we got dusted a few times by what we think were Spanish! Keep your eye for day 2 tomorrow! Cheers scratchie!!!

    Wahoo SWR

Got this wahoo at south west rocks today. Got a couple of yellowfin and lost a 10-15kg Spanish at the boat. Does anyone have any ideas on how to avoid the sharks? We were downrighing small mac tuna down around 20 metres but kept getting big sharks. Should we be keeping them on the surface?

    Wahoo in Florida

Not been fishing as much as I'd like to, might get out tomorrow hopefully. We just got this photo from a charter guy in Florida using our lures. "Just wanted to give you guys an update. We went out looking for Wahoos yesterday Mar 11th using your lures for the first time. Used the large squid color combo with ballyhoo inside the chum cavity. Landed a real nice Wahoo. Your lures really work great. Thanks for the support." Capt. Nick Czerok Searok Sport Fishing Charters We also got an email saying we might have the Women's Record for sailfish caught on one of our lures, finger's crossed, we are just confirming the details. www.scentblazer.com Peter SB-Lures

    Fishing Solomon Islands with Scent

Hey Raiders, James Ibrahim used our Scent Blazer trolling lures in Samoa on a recent trip. The Scent Blazer lure that he used out-fished the other trolling lures in the spread by a long way. James wrote us a great report and sent over some pics. He used the lures the exactly the way they were meant to be used with the bait chambers full of bait so the lures tasted and smelled like a real bait fish. In his report he mentioned that he caught a fish cut it open, took out its stomach content which was small fish and placed it inside the bait chamber of the trolling lure. That’s perfect James, that’s exactly what we do, that way you are 100% matching the hatch and pelagic fish in the area will aggressively take the lures because the lures contains the actual fish type the fish are feeding on. He also mentioned that the lure was still catching fish even after the skirt had been mangled by the toothy fish he had caught which says a lot about the value of having bait inside the lure.
