You can put your boat into the water at any ramp you want to , this will help avoid congestion at any one Ramp , remember , that we will also be sharing resources with the general public !! The Social part of this event will be held at Cook Park Sans Souci . Fishing will officially start at Daybreak , and finish NO LATER THAN 1PM (1300). Once again , our sponsors have rallied to the cause , and have made the following prizes available : Fishfinder Tony: $100 Voucher redeemable at FISHFINDER BAIT AND TACKLE for the largest Bream Watto : $100 Voucher redeemable at WATTOS FISHING AND BOATING for the largest Flathead GoFish Pete: $100 Voucher redeemable at GoFish Dural for the largest Trevally An anonymous fishraider member has donated money to provide some rod and reel combos for the kids aged to 16 years. WATTOS has generously supported the donation so that 6 combos will be on offer. A girl and boy will win a combo for largest bream, largest flathead and largest trevally. Bream and trevally will be measured from tip of head to fork of tail , flathead will be overall length. Now , here is the important bit: To be eligible for any of the prizes for this event you must register before you commence fishing. This is for legal reasons , and there will be no exceptions. I would suggest that you get to your desired ramp early , then head for the social site , we will have it staffed from daybreak to end of fishing so that you will be able to register . We will try to have some bacon and eggs going for your arrival , hot coffee and tea as well. Any legal species of FLATHEAD , BREAM OR TREVALLY is eligible for a prize , The organisers decision as to the winning entry is final , and no correspondance will be entered into. Guests who sign on must be with a Fishraider member ,no blow ins. In the event that we have 2 identically sized fish , the two anglers names will be entered into a hat , and the winner drawn by myself. If for some reason the weather becomes unfishable , or the waters dangerous the event will be postponed to a later date. This is purely a safety precaution , as many boats will have children aboard. All boats must conform to Maritime Regulations , particularly safety vests for each person on board , a bucket , oars ( if only running one motor) , waterproof torch etc. All communications shall be over Channel 96 , should the need arise for ship to ship communication. If you all could bring your own paper plates , and cups , that would lighten the burden on the organisers , and would be greatly appreciated. Most of all , bring along your sense of fun!! Be competetive by all means , but remember that this is a social day , not a fishing comp as such.
