12 rescued after boats capsize on harbour

It sounds like everyone is safe & sound thank goodness.

It also sounds like the harbour got a bit angry today. A timely reminder for all to take care on the water. Especially when a blowy change is coming through.

Cheers,

Grant.

i'm sorry but i can not see how it caught some boaties unawares

the boaties caught out in it stuffed up and didn't check the weather before heading out

i was out off coffs harbour yesterday and the VMR up there every hour was putting out the bullton about the change that was expected to hit sydney in the afternoon and the north coast later that night

southly winds to 30 knots

edit

i also found it strange last night while watching the news how they were talking about the unexpected change that came though sydney that was so unexpected that the BOM was posting reports 24hours before it hit
