Ross Hunter
Some may recall the yarn we wrote about Browns and why we do not spend a lot of time there. The photos are a few catches on Broadbill and Billfisher a long way from the mountain over the past seasons. Life can be better elsewhere. The reading of current flow is the key.The tuna and albies are small at the moment, but that's all that is around. We both dropped striped marlin on lures yesterday ....I hate pulling lures for this species but we did not know he was coming and got us by surprise..See our tips on Striped marlin and How to catch them without using lures in Click on this linkMy Webpage ...Keep scrolling back and hit continue at the bottom...There are some useful hints.Hope you enjoy Ross 60kg_tuna_addam_epifanis.BMP

Jewgaffer Jewgaffer, The site I use is free and it is from the CSIRO SITE............Here goes it is a long one www.marine.csiro.au/remotesensing/oceancurrents/......I hope this is right as I have had it as a favourite on my computor for years...The point I was making in the photos is that there are many other areas to fish other than Browns and the results can ber better. We have a library of hundreds of big tuna and marlin that have been caught over the years nowhere near the Mountain. Like our record 300 kilo Blue marlin caught well south of that area, likewise the 105 kilo tuna all caught well south.....worth thinking about rather than going to the same old puddle everytime Ross
