Crossing The Condamine River

This happened 5-1-08 at the peak of the flood

on the Condamine River at Murray Bridge

Have a good look, the river is usually 6 meters

below the bridge

the end result he opens the door to let

out the ankle deep water unlocks the hubs

and away he goes

amazing he didn't kill himself and his child

is it just me or was that a really crazy thing to do... especially when you have your little boy who should be the most precious thing to you to take a risk like that.... and towing a boat at the same time!!!! thats bloody crazy.....

That boat looks like it is off to one side of the vehicle, in other words

its drifted off slightly in the current while still attached to the trailer I think.

One of the dumbest things I have seen with a childs life put at risk.

good chance the boat being strapped to the trailer actually floated it and thats the reason for the angle. seriously a mad thing to do especially with all the reports of drownings and cars and people being swept away.

and then the rescuers have to risk their lives to save morons.
