Most forks do not have two way rams , their weight alone allows them to drop back down.

Ross

I honestly thought I'd be the only person who has tried that Ross. Not that I have tried to use a forklift as a bead breaker or to jack up the front to change a tyre!!!!!!!!!!! ooops. I know I did a safety training course for a reason but just can't remember what the reason was??

Pel

PS is you drop the tines fast enough with a couple of blokes on it it works as a bead breaker. double ooops now where is that OH&S insurance policy. If I can find it I have a powerpoint presentation of dumb things done with forklifts. Some were quite inventive and i nearly felt inspired but the last few showed the catastrophes and injuries.

If that bloke was travelling with his forks down with the sleepers on it like you are supposed to he wouldn't have been able to get that far in the gutter.

That's not a sling I tell ya - It's and islanders seatbelt.
