Just purchased a New daiwa setup to give the reds a go once these seas settle . I know that area pretty well up around longreef so im hoping to get my first solid red on plastics up there ....

Cant wait to hit the Mid North coast ......

Cheers ....Dogtooth :1fishing1: ..... John.....

Good luck DT on the quest!

Hi Greg,

That is really outstanding fishing for quality table fish such as those reds.

sounds like your getting the hang of it pretty quickly and results show.

what size boat would you recomend for that style of red plastic bashing!!!

keep up the informative reports

Mate it's just having faith in plastics and keep casting!

I'm lucky with my breaming background, as it's very similar without the made made structure(so far).

Boat wise, on a good day I've had the skeeter out there but 4.8m+ with decent sides, open would be better.

Gus has a little centre console and works a treat still fishes 3 up and doesnt have the windage of something with a cabin....
