Bull Shark Stories From The Georges River And Chipping Norton Lakes

I remember reading Victor Coppleson's book Shark Attack when I was a kid. It documents quite a few shark atacks in the harbour and surrounds. Good read if you can find it.

I have seen a few down round Balmain way. Snails bay and Mort Bay especially. A neighbour of ours was bumped twice by a 6 footer while yacking in Snails last summer. There used to be shark signs at Birchgrove Oval but someone either flogged them or the council took them down for some reason only they know about. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zoom_eric/526148044/

Here is a video of shark scientists catching bull sharks at Balmain http://video.au.msn.com/watch/video/bull-shark-caught-in-sydney-harbour/x0hvf5r
