You can put your boat into the water at any ramp you want to , this will help avoid congestion at any one Ramp , remember , that we will also be sharing resources with the general public !!

These are a few of the ramps available to use:

hole in the wall

botany bay boat ramp

kyeemah cooks river ramp

Oatley Bay

The Social part of this event will be held at Cook Park Sans Souci .

Fishraider Head Quarters will be staffed from 06:00am and fishing can commence once you are registered @ 06:00am, and finish NO LATER THAN 12:00PM (12:00 midday).

For this event you must register before you commence fishing. This is for legal reasons , and there will be no exception. Guests who sign on must be with a Fishraider member, no blow ins.

The target species for this year are Bream, Flathead and Trevally. All fish will be measured from Tip of head to Tip of tail.

Once again , our terrrific sponsors have come to the party with some great prizes for the largest fish of each species in a Junior and a Seniors category for each target species.

I would like to thank Global Tackle and Seriously Stainless for providing 6 prizes each for the above target species.

Also on offer from Huett Marine is a $100 gift voucher (to be spent @ Huett Marine) for the largest non-target fish measured from Tip of head to Tip of Tail.

To be eligible for these prizes you must register @ Fishraider Head Quarters prior to fishing

To qualify for the Junior Angler prize you must be under 16 years of age.

Any legal species of FLATHEAD , BREAM OR TREVALLY is eligible for a prize , The organisers decision as to the winning entry is final , and no correspondance will be entered into.

In the event that we have 2 identically sized fish , the two anglers names will be entered into a hat , and the winner will be drawn on the day.

If for some reason the weather becomes unfishable , or the waters dangerous the event will be postponed to a later date. This is purely a safety precaution , as many boats will have children aboard.

The weather at this stage looks to be good with light wind and rain at times. Please come prepared for the conditions with wet weather gear, hats, sunscreen or what ever is required etc. etc.

All boats must conform to Maritime Regulations , particularly safety vests for each person on board , a bucket , oars ( if only running one motor) , waterproof torch etc.

All communications shall be over Channel 96 , should the need arise for ship to ship communication.

Most of all , bring along your sense of fun!! Be competetive by all means , but remember that this is a social day , not a fishing comp as such.

A Fishraider social is about meeting other members and not only about the fishing :D

Any changes to this schedule will be posted here so check back prior to the weekend.

Looking forward to seeing you all there ,
