antr Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Hi all went for a fish this arvo, about 1pm went and got some yacka , can't get a squid for love nor money,5 yacka on board thought I would try around the cakes first livey down 30 seconds and wham first ever Kingy only 60 cm so a quick kiss and off she or he swam, no camera so a kiss will have to do, kings were braking up all over but no takers on lures so tried an almost livey flicked in the middle of them and wham another 60 cm so again the kiss and smile and back they go, one day I will get a keeper but they are such a fantastic power house it's a shame to eat them,got the call to go, so that was that, great day all in all,get out there cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was out on Sunday and made it to North head while the sun went down, lost one fish, don't know what it was, but that was it. Is the wedding cakes just those light houses? Cheers Phil Yes the island off Coogee is called Wedding Cake Island.
