Guest hottuna
Chased squid early morning and beyond in all my usually haunts for nil. A quick supply of yakkas before making my way around the many headlands in the search of kings, had one maybe two touchs before pulling into a bay nestled out of the wind where we peppered the place with plastic while setting a livie down deep. All we found was this fella, it took one of those fairly new berkley blade dancers.....an awesome take on splashdown and one that will live in the anglers mind atleast until the next one . It had all 3 anglers working double time passing the rod to me in the bow, as i faught the fish and untide from the mooring without lossing this spirited little guy, it then did the exact same thing ran round the boat in search of mooring ropes. A trully great capture on 4lb fireline and 6lb leader. I`m sure it had onlookers in stiches.- It went 55cm. Not bad for his first ever king. Also landed a big squid which came up after a pinkie.
