LOCATION: Inner Northern Ledges Long Bay

Okay here's another good get out of a big Nor Easter spot, it harbours all manner of species from bream, kings, luderick and is a reliable live bait area as well as some good squid, best access is from the car park next to the treatment plant at North Malabar, the boat ramp itself can be a reliable yakka and squid ground, the idea here is to check the swell Nor East is best and work your way east till you start finding a wash the bigger the swell the closer you fish towards the beach in a real big bump fish the beach itself. Do not venture past the area called the blowhole this is where you need experience and is not recommended for first timers or those with little experience the Eastern most point of this headland is a deathtrap and under no circumstances will I recommend going there.

Access is easy your a close to amenities and phone reception is good. Public transport is excellent and the cafe at the beach does a good feed and the beer at the RSL is tops!
