luderick -angler Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 Heard nothing from Lyell or Wallace, TCD has been fishing very well for some and others no joy by all accounts I have heard the fly guys nailing them one day and the next blank, TCD is a strange place the fish will bite for a short window of opportunity and shut down just as quick then re appear again hours later it pays to be persistant and vary your lures/fly reguarly and a different retrieve rate, some days I find they are nailing nymphs under a dry other days you need to get down with a sinking line and streamers, other days its all dry fly action, and other days you get nothing on a fly and its all for the lure guys! The place can be an enigma but worth the effort even if you blank cause I rate it as a very beautiful place to fish wit hthe chance of a trophy brown or bow!
