Linc
Can anybody tell me what this little prehistoric looking character is called? It looked something like a cross between a silver whiting and a flying gurnard! Caught in middle harbour on a piece of prawn Cheers, Linc Edited September 24, 2013 by Linc

0 Linc
Thanks Grant, Definitely a painted grinner after checking google images. According to one site they are good bait, next time I might try it out if I catch one as it was perfect livie size. So far I've caught new unknown (to me) species on each of my trips out on middle harbour, I wonder what I'll find next! Gotta love NSW waters!
