benm
Was cleaning a king at the boat ramp today. Fish was just over 65cm. Some stranger tells me that "the legal size is now 70cm" and I am "lucky fisheries is not here". "Since when?" I asked. "For about 2 weeks" he replied. I checked the website http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/regulations/sw/sw-bag-and-size and it still says 65cm. Is he full of it or is there more up-to-date information elsewhere I can find, if so, where?
alluring
I haven't heard a thing about this. Maybe they were confusing it with the recent changes to mulloway..?
TonyS
Legal size for kingfish is still 65 cm. The stranger may be getting confused with kingfish and mulloway. Mulloway now have a legal length of 70cm.
