One question I'd like to raise is during my first trip out on my boat my sounder lost signal at around the 300m mark. We headed to the shelf however the sounder was not reading and Im just wondering if a bait ball was within the first 100m would the sounder pick it up making the sounder useful whilst trolling although it cant register the depths?
