Xsite Posted January 27, 2016 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi Raider, Launch boat at botany bay late Sunday afternoon, Tried for some Yakkas but got non so decided to go for calamari in front of bare island, nothing for 1.5 hours then bang, 28 small to medium come on board in the next 1.5 hour, send one live one down but did not check the old rig as we have tried so many times with out success, then some thing grab the live squid, heavy but no head shake at all so I thought it was a port Jackson, Then a 80cm + king surface (never see one this big in the bay before), saw our boat and decide to run for its freedom and the leader snap. Dammmmmmmmm Any way, squid stop so we move to Travelly Alley and pick up a 5.5 kg Jew, all up is was a better than average day and awesome BBQ on Australia's day with family Hoping this is a good start for the new year Cheers Xsite Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
