Boat Ballast or Fishing Companion

Hi everyone, have been reading a lot of reports and I fall into the Desperate and Boatless category very much and I'm keen on fishing in general inside or outside. The fish I most want to catch is my first Kingfish and/or Mahi Mahi but just love to fish when I can. If any of you want a companion on your boat I'm more than willing to pay my way with the fuel and bait or whatever.
