Small fish with tenticles (Pennant Fish)

Hi all was fishing port hacking the other night when we noticed these fish swimming around the boat all night they looked like a dart but had long tenicles off them silver in colour and would swim vertical or horizontal. Reminded me of a jellyfish but where differently a fish I cant find a picture of them any where, Would love to no what they are.

Could be a Pennantfish, close relative of Diamond Trevally

Sounds like a Diamond Trevally, saw one down by Gymeah a few weeks ago too and had no idea what it was at the time.

Diamond trevally it was great looking fish. I tried to take a picture of it but it didn't turn out thanks for the replies.

Pennant fish it was I thought they are the same family as diamond fish .cheers
