Sounder help

Hey all atm i have a garmin dv70 and was thinking of upgrading as im starting to go offshore ànd dont think its not good enough 4 it as it doesnt pick up bait/ fish when im offshore works fine inside but must not be strong enough 4 outside just wondering if anyone knows if i can just fit a bigger transducer if not wats a good sounder that will work well inside and out want to try dropping baits at browns so need something strong enough 4 that

If ur looking to fish Browns, I'd need a transducer with grunt. Something like a 1kw transducer with a unit to support it. I have a Lowrancd hds7 with an airmar tm260. Wish I got at least hds8 though

All depends on your budget. Electronics are changing all the time but as said above, for places like Browns you will want a good quality sounder and transducer package. Cheers............

3k is pushing it a tad . But if ur lucky, u can get a sounder and tm260 for about that

I'm with stevefish, a 587 Furuno and a tm260 will cover all bases.
