Scent Blazer Lures
we trolled today from about 11, started a couple miles inside Browns to about 8 miles east of Browns, good temp breaks, lots of tuna birds. All we got were 2 Stripies and dropped another 2 fish which I suspect were Stripies as well lots of boats out, we heard a couple of YFT were caught around 20kg, a couple of Albacore, someone said a Bluefin was caught as well 125kg how did everyone else go? stevefish
Zeroes out of Wollongong, couple of stripies if you want to count them. The most likely looking water was 20.0 degrees in 250-300. Went out to 800 and 20.9 but a desert. Radio talk- JB seemed OK with a few boats getting multiple fish in 1200-2000 more albies than fin. A few wide out of Kiama as well. Plenty of zeroes as well. njsconst
We fished yesterday (10/7/16) out of Botany Bay. Head straight out to the southern Canyons dropping the lures in the water as we cross over the shelf. Conditions during the day just got better and better. Picked up this 52kg YFT 5kms NE of the Sth Canyons on our way up to Browns.Good 15 minute tussle on 24kg happy to get him in the boat. Coolest water we saw was 19.1'C and warmest was 20.4'C. Pretty happy with my sounder setup (1Kw Tranny) giving clear reads like this.

IMG_0144.JPG awesome fish! We were originally gonna head south towards the Canyons, but the water looked good about 5NM east of Browns so we decided to stay around there. Conditions were good. I heard today there was another YFT caught near the Canyons that went about 50kg as well. Edited July 11, 2016 by Scent Blazer Lures
