mii11x
Hi Guys, What type of grease do you use for packing wheel bearings? Thanks
The Incredible Hull
I've tried 2 types. Timken grease (non marine) and Castrol Marine grease. I found the marine grease to be much more thicker and sticky.
Fab1
This Grease by Nulon will grease everything on your boat mate and is easy to find at the auto stores. With greasing wheel bearings on a boat you want a grease that contains lithium as lithium repels moisture really well but any grease is useless if you haven't installed your bearings and seals correctly. Cheers.
