Green Hornet
A nice feed there. They're bony, but I reckon flounder are as tasty as fish gets.
Ivo
Hi mike, nice catch there! what do you target the LJ's on? I see them alot when I'm fishing but they seem fairly hard to hook up, any tips?
Mike89
I use a dropper (or paternoster) rig with a medium sized long shank hook and prawns for bait. Actually rigged up with two hooks yesterday, a medium sized long shank about 60cm from the sinker and another larger hook about 15-20cm from the sinker. The top hook was intended for the LJs and the bottom for the flatheads but all fish ended up being taken on the bottom hook. Can anyone help me with the flounder/sole? I can never differentiate the two. Cheers!
Blackfish
It's a Flounder. Flounder have a tail where Sole don't. Flounder are an interesting fish, they always seem to pop up when im drifting or casting sp's for flatties and whiting
