Joel2230
Taking the kids fishing for sand whiting and was wondering Where can I buy live Bloodworms near Cronulla?
hotbite
Hi Joel2230.......The closest I can think of is Macs Bait Bar at Tom Uglys bridge or Gabes tackle Princes Hwy Sylvania if its still there. Frozen beach worms will catch fish not as good of course. Don't forget about 3cms of red tubeing above your hook.......good luck mate
jeffb5.8
If you cannot get blood worm, try some live Nippers, even better buy a nipper pump ($45) and let the kids pump for nippers then go fishing. It's a highlight of my 3 kids day when they get a few nippers. Whiting and bream go crazy for them.
Joel2230
Thanks hobite I've not heard of the red tube before. What's that do? We ended up grabbing frozen beach works from taren point. Got lucky on a couple of Bream. I'm a new fisherman. But my whole family is getting stuck in its great. Keeps them off the iPads etc.
Lungfai76
Red tube basically extends the look of the bait, as do the red coloured hooks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hotbite
Sorry for late reply to your question Joel2230...... The red tubeing is also an attractor......Also when you are fishing for Whiteing, try to keep your bait moving slowly. As with most fish, they are attracted to movement.
