Inspecting/changing impellor

Fab1

Recommended Posts

With the impellor itself the vanes always get a set in them by design one way or the other and with this constant flexion/friction in the vanes the rubber will start having signs of creasing/cracking 99% of the time right at the base of the vanes as you can see here on mine.image.jpgFrom here it won't be long before complete failure if not replaced.

With the Yamaha impellors the key way through the main body of the impellor isn't cut right through the body and must be installed with the opening facing down to enable it to slid over the woodruff key when installed.

Take note,No slot on this side. This side faces up.image.jpgContinued part 8
