Hobie Mirage drive 180

Hey Lungfai, finally managed to get the hobie out with the 180 on the george's river today for a trial run. The water was very calm and unfortunately I didn't take any video but I can say the drive is equivocal to the older drive except it goes in reverse, so no surprises there. I put it through the paces and achieved comparable speeds. Reverse function is very easy to toggle. Overall I am quite happy with it and of course the new yak.

As a side note, the rhino t-load has been somewhat of a struggle getting used to compared to the hullavator but hopefully I will get down a better technique without damaging my triton!

Can't wait to get my hands on a 180. ?

As for the T-load, I noticed you pushed the Yak all the way to the front. Try just getting the Yak front just on your front rack and let the rear of the Yak sit on the T-load. You'll have 3 points of tie down so don't really need the bonnet strap and you'll save some effort pushing the Yak so far forward ?
