Fab1
This movement forward of 125mm gave me my target weight of 60kg on the coupling. Now to lube the new tow ball with lithium grease. You only need a small amount. Here I've hitched the trailer to the new tow bar and tow ball and am adjusting the play between the coupling and the ball as the coupling needs to wear to the new ball. To adjust,Crack the nut loose and turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the slack/rattle in the drawbar is taken out by giving it a good lift and wiggle and re tightening the locknut. I like to have the handle on the coupling firm to push down in the lock position and firm to unlock the handle as this helps a lot with hitch rattle.
