swano
Decided to go kayaking with the wife at Kangaroo Valley on Wednesday, when the brochure read bring your fishing rod it was the deciding factor, Lets go. After hiring the kayaks we put in at Bendeela and headed towards Tallowa Dam. Never fished here before and the Kayaks weren't set up for fishing, but after a bit of getting used to it,finally got into a rhythm. Ended up catching 6 bass all on purple 1/4oz spinnerbait, no hits on the surface. Fish were from the smallest I've ever seen to 30cm. Deb didn't have much luck on the fish, but she was in her element, spending most of her time on the camera getting some great photos. Stopped a few times for coffee and picnic lunch, and just enjoyed this beautiful waterway. sorry about the photo size not sure what happened
big Neil
Well done Swano on catching a few Bass and I must also commend your wife for the great photos of a pristine environment. Love the pics of the Kingfisher and the lizard. A day for you both to put in the memory banks mate. Cheers, BN
