Wellzy94 Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Got out to Yarramundi with @p-ziller on Saturday to chase bass. Weather was overcast and not too hot when we got there, but once we got to the water (and continued bushwalking) it got bloody humid! It didn't help that the sun also came out and the temperature rose as well. Tried a couple spots with small strikes but no success, and a lost lure to boot. Hit our last spot for the day, and I swapped from a crank to a cicada. Thankfully I did, because first cast and BAM! Within seconds of hitting the water I was on and pulled in a beautiful 30cm bass, doubling my PB! Hooked another not long after that felt bigger, but dropped it. Ziller landed a small bass, and a herring also on lure, and I spent half the time trying to work out what was trying to eat my swivel every retrieve.
