Wellzy94
Yesterday after work I finally got the yak cleaned and started working out where I want everything. First up I made sure I knew how the clip-in seats mounted, and removed the original rod holders. Next up will be fabricating mounting adaptor brackets for the new rod holders and the Lowrance unit, then in-hull installation of the transducer and wiring. I also discovered that I can center-mount a seat for individual trips! (It'd be pretty unruly with the length and weight though!) Wellzy94
If I can get access to some cutting powertools I plan on really cracking into it over the weekend! Currently sussing out my options of materials to use to fabricate the adaptor plates to mount the sounder unit and rod holders.
Wellzy94
Forgot to add a pic of the rod holders I got. Also just got a hold of some nice squares of 5mm mild steel to fabricate my adaptor plates with.

Got hailed on over the weekend, didn't get a chance to actually crack in, but I took the measurements I need to cut my adaptor plates to size. Hoping to get the rod holders mounted during the week!
