dirvin21
A combination of work and some other issues has seen very little fishing over the last few weeks, With night shift back on the agenda short opportunities for fishing open up travelling to and from work and one morning the water looked to good to pass up a cast and sure enough lure hit the water and a pack of hungry bream came from nowhere and I got this reasonable specimen. With some inspiration it was time to have a cast on the way to work, there's a section of water under lights beneath a bridge in my local system stopped in there to find bait everywhere put a cast in and was hit almost immediately next cast and on again watched the flattie rise up and take the lure The bream kept hanging around as well with another decent fish coming finally watched a monster flathead rise up for the lure gave it a pause and held on with anticipation only to watch a much smaller (although decent sized fish) race up and eat it literally at the big girls mouth and that was the end of a feisty little session no monsters but some decent quality fish fish were caught on ecogear sx40 and black magic bmax thanks for reading Dave

jdanger
That last flattie in the pics looks around 40cm, yeah? If that's the little one that raced up, the big one it pipped must've been massive. Nice report

Nice report that's the "little one" probably about 40cm the big girl would have been 80cm+ still get the shakes just thinking about it
