Regan Posted August 6, 2017 Share Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) hey raiders headed out to terrigal yesterday for a 1 hour sesh, launched my hobie paddled out from the haven and soon found out it was to windy for fishing out of the haven in a kayak. headed back into the haven to where i normally go for squid armed with a 3.0 yamashita jig. the drift was going quite fast even though i was right in the haven, cast out my jig and did a series of sharp hops along the bottom for nothing for the next 45mins. as soon as it started getting dark i started getting hits, i then hooked up to a nice big squid, a bit bigger than the one in my last report. at the start i thought it was a big piece of weed and then i realised it was a squid when it started pulling drag. 2 casts later in the exact same spot i hooked up to another squid, this one a lot smaller. got it right up beside my yak and had my hand around it ready to pull it into my yak, it did a big spurt of ink and was off. started getting dark and i had no lights so i had to head in. i will upload some pics later Regan Edited August 6, 2017 by Regan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
