Daiwa Leobritz 270mm electric reel

Hi All,

I am posting for my dad, 

Basically he has been having some troubles with the bearings in 1 of his imported "Daiwa Leobritz 270mm" electric reels. He has already been through some of the obvious avenues to try and have someone repair/service the reel such as daiwa australia and local tackle shops but no-one is willing to touch it. 

I thought i would have a shot at posting here in hope's someone has 1st hand experience with servicing these types of reels or knows someone who does?
