I used to use high end slr gear but now use a Sony compact ( rx 10 ) which does everything the big gear used to do in one smallish camera.

Which lens(es) do you carry? quick search turned up a package Sony offers with a F2.4-4 large-aperture 24-600mm zoom lens. Sounds pretty unreal. Sounds pretty unreal. It's the latest version with the 24-600, it's a fantastic bit of kit. These files are greatly reduced in quality for uploading to around 100kb, originals are up over 20mb and razor sharp. 315 focus points and the ability to shoot full size raw images at 30 frames per second, not to mention super high speed full size video for playing back slow motion. I used to use canon pro bodies and lenses such as 400 2.8 ($16000 worth lens $7000 body ) and this little camera gets me far more keeper shots than any pro end gear and is so easy to keep with me at all times. When the little GoPro cameras came out they hurt the sales of high end video gear, now these little supperzoom compacts are doing the same to slr and lens sales. 2
