nipper Posted April 9, 2018 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Well Crowdy Heads once again didn't disappoint. Awesome weather for a change over Easter. Ended up with plenty of nice kings, small reds, flathead and pearlies from out wide. Did some mackeral fishing with my nephew resulting in him catching three nice spotties one morning leaving them biting. He didn't like catching the big Mack tunas though especially when he knew that we couldn't eat them. Made great bait though. Last day resulted on PB Pearl Perch of 4.814kg which shocked the hell out of me when I weighed it. Thought it was about 3kgs. Came home with some nice packs of cryovac fillets and used the head and frame from the big pearlie for fish stock with will end up as seafood soup with prawns, muscles and fish pieces along with vege.
