SickWolf
After a nice day at avoca rocks, i seemed unable to produce any tailor. Does anyone have any idea how to target them here? I tried just about everything and ended up with no tailor.
Oldfella
Hi Sw; It is a wonder you caught anything today. Sea conditions flatter than the proverbial " Dunny Carters Hat." !! Tailor or anything off the rocks prefer a bit of wash. Tailor especially along with luderick and drummer. Usually in those conditions you will catch al, the rubbish under the sun. Kelpies , cockies and wirrahs love those conditions. A pity you only caught one leatherjacket. Beautiful eating fish and ideal for kids, Cheers. PaddyT
Read your other report-you need to be on the rocks a lot earlier, a good hour before sun up is when the tailor will be on the chew, the bite is usually finished before sun up.
