Need help finding fish

Hey guys heading up to Lake Macquarie soon and was wondering if any one can tell me what to look out as I’m hoping to get a Jew but being such a large lake with a mostly consistent depth I just have got no idea for spots to drop the anchor I was just wondering what to look out for to find fish

Maybe try the drop off from Swansea Channel into the lake on the run in.

try off the end of Wangi pt  towards southern end   stay about 50 to 70 mtrs off rocks   sound around for patches of bait...rick

squid  jig for them on the bottom just out from the dropover  where channel spills into lake...rick
