New boat - Fishing Buddy - East Coast

G'day Everyone,

31 year old male living in Cronulla and just recently upgraded from my little tinny to a Formosa C/C 550 Tomohawk and looking at doing some deep sea fishing. I've mainly stuck  to the rivers and creeks so my knowledge of deep sea fishing is very limited. I normally put in at Swallow Rock boat ramp in Gymea and head out in the port hacking from there.

If anyone would be keen to PM me and maybe swing some tips, handy hints and maybe a GPS spot or two that would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, if anyone would be keen to join me on an adventure or two, I would be more then happy to share costs, laughs and maybe a beer or two  I have some fishing gear, but not an abundance, so having your own gear would be advantageous.

mate, that's an awesome upgrade. they always catch my eye  and love the look of the Formosa cabins and the centres ! that rig will be perfect for punching out the  FADS when they are deployed. I cant really help out with the regular boat buddy but I am often heading out of the hacking and swallow rock ramp. if you see a purple seafarer v-sea .. that's me! come say G'day.

Punching out to the FADs is the plan! And no worries, hopefully I'll see you around the boat ramp and say g'day!

Hey mate if you want some company out on the boat am happy to chip, got all my own gear etc and can get all the bait. PM if you like. Have boat licence and experience too

Hi.  Saw a new Formosa last Tuesday or Wednesday this week  (fished both days) that went to sea from the Hacking and came back 10 minutes later.   Was that you?

I was in a 5.6 Quinnie with a black bimini fishing for squid in Salmon Haul Bay.  May see you some day.   Ron

I am an active 64 year old male who lives in Paddington 2021. Semi retired. Non smoker. Available 7 days a week by arrangement. Average fishing skills. I have an assortment of my own fishing and boat gear. I have my own transport / van.     

For the past 13 years i have mostly fished in boats on the south coast of NSW with local boat owners, and my own boat / tinnie, (which i sold about 5 years ago). My previous south coast fishing partners / boat owners are no longer available for fishing. I have also experience in freshwater fishing

I am now looking forward to meeting other people to fish with.

I am experienced at launching,cleaning, maintaining, setting up, packing down boat. No problem paying for fuel and or bait.
