Oli Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Went to Pier 2 to fish for squid at around 5pm the day before this report was written. My mate suggested that we move to another spot as we only caught 2 squid, so we moved to a wharf which was a short walk from our spot. After the tide got to its lowest, I decided to call it quits, and my mate agreed, but I let him finish working the jig back. And what do you know, we end up with a big calamari after a good fight, and considering how big it was and the fact that we wanted to eat it, we gave one of the arrow squid to a keen jewie fisherman and left with big smiles on our faces.
