An interesting read. You have to move your boat a block away from your house every 28 days, no matter how many times you use it and they aren't giving out a permit to park your boat in front of your house.

Wow! What a croc! I’ve never had to park on the street - I wouldn’t live in a location where I had to! But... if you do, people... make sure you have your say!

If you lived in Coogee, Randwick, Maroubra, Chifley areas you would know how many old boats block streets there. In the middle of Anzac Pde near Duffy’s Corner there used to be many boats just left there.

Thing is if you go fishing & come back & park in the same spot is that classed as moved??

 

I live in the area right now & yeh there are some boats that never move so I do understand where they are coming from but how will this be monitored as to my question above?

The other thing is the light rail is affecting all the side street parking so agree that something needs to be done to weed out the space wasters.

 

If your not using it then sell the bloody thing or just take it to the dump!

Some of them are near wrecks anyway ?

Yeah, Nah- sorry but if the trailer is registered then it has the right to be on the road along with any other registered vehicle or contraption, as usual its toffs from certain blue ribbon electorates worried about the effect a dirty fisherman will have on their property values, if its unregistered , sure , tow it.
