Nelligen NSW tailor ground

Hi lads, could anyone inform me of some good fishing ground for tailor in the Nelligen system. My plan is to slow troll some hard body lures and a pilchard on a set of ganged hooks starting at the big4 caravan park.

Not sure there are "Tailor grounds" in the Clyde River but well worth a try with what you suggest. Tailor do frequent the river systems and you may well pick some up along with other species. bn

I'd be running a decent swivel in front of the pilchard......... line twist......... soooo much line twist.

 

You will catch plenty of tailor fishing the way you are talking about especially more towards the bar area of the clyde, particularly in low light times

The Nelligan pub opposite the big4 serves the best meals in the district, you may have to head down towards Batemans for best chance at Tailor, good jew fishing summer nights at Nelligan and the creek that flows through the big 4 is great at high time for Bream.
