FISHRAIDER TURNS 14

Recommended Posts

Happy Anniversary Fishraider! Without a doubt, this site provides the fishing community with a much needed "sounding board" for the members to communicate across the globe. It provides its worldwide membership (including the vastness of Australia) with the opportunity to share their experiences, to teach and learn from each other.

Apparently, Fishraider had a very shaky start but it has grown into the sophisticated "go to site" for anglers from every level of the spectrum. In acknowledging its success we have to also thank Donna and Stewy for their dedication and sacrifice. To the moderators, past and present, who work tirelessly on our behalf to ensure the integrity of its operation... a massive thank you. Then, of course, there are the members who contribute and reap the benefits of using this site. ONYA GUYS AND GALS! Last (though not least) the sponsors of the site deserve as much support as we can provide them.

Here's to the continued success of the Forum...Cheers, bn

Congratulations on 14 years. I am looking forward to reaching 10 years with Fishraider this September (took a few months to get around to joining) but wish I'd discovered it about 4 years earlier.

Thanks for all the wonderful work done by the team keeping this site operating. Another thank you for providing a great place to share experiences and advice.

Regards,

Derek

As said so well by all above, thanks so much to everyone involved with this one of a kind, very special organization, that welcomes all with the most genuine friendliness. Fishing is probably the most unique activity most could ever be a part of as it's an infinite, ever expanding, 'science', as well as a sport and a 'way of life' that everyone who participates in has much to contribute- such is our passion and such is the diversity of what we do. It's become a common term to "ask google" for info on things we don't know, but for the fishing world, "asking Fishraider" is a far better option, as the answers are realistic, genuine, clever and specific -often humorous as well. We can learn so much and share the information with like minds. Friendships are formed and wisdom freely offered. Just fantastic. So, many thanks to the owners and administrators for their tireless energy and contributions. I love being a small part of it all
