Jew_Master06
Hi Guys, I have been having trouble finding bait in the Hawkesbury lately. I usually fish from Berowra all the way down to Pittwater. I am usually chasing mullet and squid but can’t find any. Any tips would be most appreciated. Happy Fshing, Jew_Master06

kiwicraig
I have had some success with yakkas in Cowan Creek. Pull into the eddy in the current on one of the points where the bank drops down quickly. Almost any point will work, but which side depends on which way the tide is running. If in doubt use the sounder to find the bait. Shark Rock by the entrance to Jerusalem Bay usually produces as well.

antonywardle
The creek is pretty muddy atm because of all the rain. Maybe the Entrance will fire up again.

PaddyT
The herring should be showing up, upstream in places like Berowra I reckon they are a better bait than mullet anyway. Jig them up on the channel markers
