hi raiders

decided to chase the sbt this year so packed my gear and went to tasmania with my bffs

booked a charter located at eaglehawk neck (stewart). the charter cost $220 for a full day so me and my 3 bffs paid $880 for the charter from 7am to 3pm

we stayed at hobart so its about 1hr drive to eaglehawk neck

took around 45mins to reach our spot from the ramp and it didnt take that long to catch our 1st albacore

we bag out on the albys in around 2hrs thats 5 each

the albys were around 2-3kg each

dropped plenty of albys on the side of the boat

even caught a baby mako on a laserpro gold that was the first time to see one on lure

we were using livelylures mackbait in blue yellow pink

the blue mackbait caught most of the albys

decided to bottombash hoping to hook a mako

were fishing in 150m deep

we were using alby fillets for bait

caught 1 school shark 1 ray dozens of flattys around the 60cm

also caught other sharks but only kept the school shark

trolled more afterwards hoping for a bluefin but we kept on catching albys

unfortunately we didnt catch a bluefin but it was the best weekend so far at tasmania with my bffs

thanks for reading
