Depends what fish you plan on targeting?

Hi and welcome to the site, hope you have along and enjoyable time here.

The outfit you have chosen would be a great combination, extremely light that you could fish for hours without your arms dropping off ( depending on what you get on the end of the line ) and more importantly extremely tough and robust. I would personally ( IF I could afford such an outfit ) prefer a reel with a little more line capacity, go the 4 . not going to suggest an alternative here as it may confuse the issue.

Although Gloomis suggest these rods are a spin type rod I would like to have a try with them with a overhead reel such as the LTD 15 or similar. Don't know what size stripper eye this rod has as I can't see a photo of it anywhere but all other eyes look like they would be suitable for overhead reel, and if need be I would fit low seat stripper eye to suit. But that's just me.

Would suggest the outfit would suit Kings, Snapper, gummy's and light tuna etc.
