Hi guys headed out today off manly  turned out a cracker day we caught some rat kings early then dropped two good ones at the boat.Had some big hits finished the day with a mix bag of flatties/flounder/trevally bream sorry no pics yet can't get off my phone.

Yeah in line with the church up on the headland  they came on soon as we pulled up

Nice report prawn. Is the church at Manly inside (North harbour side) or on the ocean side toward Blue fish? I fish the area a lot and haven’t noticed a church on the headland?

 

Very frustrating to lose the big ones - do you fish llight and lose fish, or gear up for the big boys and discourage the smaller kings- hard choice to make.

It's on the ocean side on the left heading into the beach its huge you can't miss it .we were fishing light leaders when we hooked up then put a big rod out then they lost interest so we went back to the light gear  and  they struck again
