Where to camp near St Georges Basin / Sussex Inlet

Hi All,

I was hoping to put the boat in on St Georges basin this long weekend.  Can anyone recommend places to camp that are nearby (30 or 40 min drive max)?  I just want to roll out the swag and don't need too much amenity, would consider anything from a caravan park to a national park spot but am struggling to find anything.

Google Palm Beach caravan park and see what you think, its only a two minute walk to the basin and a 1 minute drive to Sanctuary Point boat ramp.

Aside from there, there's a caravan park at Huskisson or stacks at Sussex Inlet.

There's camping grounds at Booderee National Park at Caves Beach, Bristol Point and Greenpatch but you're going to need a $13.00, 2 day pass on top of your camping fee to stay in one of those.

I have an onsite van near Swan Lake , Cudmirrah. There is van park there with good amenities and grassed area you can pitch a tent . It is called Lakeside Caravan Park Goonawarra Drive Cudmirrah ph 4441 2516.

There are three locations for boat ramps 

I will be down there over the long week end.
